In Anime Switch, there are tons of units you can summon and battle with. It is also obvious that when there are so many options to choose from, it is hard to figure out which units to use. Whether you just started playing the game or are a veteran, we have crafted a tier list to help you know which units to focus on in Anime Switch.

Anime Switch (Roblox) units tier list

We have divided the tier list into five categories: S, A, B, C, and D. Here is the tier list of all units in Anime Royale:

Tier Units
S Joker, Bakame, Tazuko, Vegi (Super), Flamingo, Tachiki, Ulturya (Unleashed), Dori (Curse Lord), Life the Kidd
A Benjiro (Sun Form), Dori, Kogi, Vegi, Rio, Kid the Rumble (Destruction), Ron (Ant Arc)
B Rito, Manji (Diable), Takura, Igo (Release), Jumby, Kasta, Manji (Timeskip), Baw (PTS), Roshito, Kid the Rumble
C Ruffy, Bobo, Igo, Woro (PTS), Lam
D Benjiro, Kid Laruto, Koten, Rien, Ron, Chi, Boku

S-Tier

  • Joker
  • Bakame
  • Tazuko
  • Vegi (Super)
  • Flamingo
  • Tachiki
  • Ulturya (Unleashed)
  • Dori (Curse Lord)
  • Life the Kidd

S-Tier units are incredibly strong and definitely worth keeping in your loadout. The catch? They’re tough to summon, so you might need to rely on A-tier units until you get one of these S-tier units.

A-Tier

  • Benjiro (Sun Form)
  • Dori
  • Kogi
  • Vegi
  • Rio
  • Kid the Rumble (Destruction)
  • Ron (Ant Arc)

A-Tier units are quite effective and can give a toe-to-toe fight to the S-Tier units in terms of combat. Remember, keeping A-tier units is definitely a big yes, but it is not quite on the same level as S-tier units.

B-Tier

  • Rito
  • Manji (Diable)
  • Takura
  • Igo (Release)
  • Jumby
  • Kasta
  • Manji (Timeskip)
  • Baw (PTS)
  • Roshito
  • Kid the Rumble

B-Tier units are not really bad, but in the long run, using them will be just a waste of time. Instead, you should try to summon high-tier units.

C-Tier

  • Ruffy
  • Bobo
  • Igo
  • Woro (PTS)
  • Lam

If you want to get an idea of how this game works and win games as well, C-Tier units are for you. But again, you won’t be a beginner forever, and obviously, you want to aim for better units. So, it is better that you replace the C-Tier units as soon as possible.

D-Tier

  • Benjiro
  • Kid Laruto
  • Koten
  • Rien
  • Ron
  • Chi
  • Boku

These D-tier units have little to no advantage over your opponent, so it is better to aim for C-tier units as your starting point.

The Transformers event in Squad Busters brought two new permanent characters: Optimus Prime and Elita-1. Since they are new characters, it is important to know their abilities before you try to use them. Not only that, these characters also come in various evolution stages.

To help you understand them better, here is an in-depth explanation of Optimus Prime and Elita-1 abilities in Squad Busters.

Optimus Prime

Optimus Prime is an epic character in Squad Busters who boasts boosted health and size. He has three evolution stages, and here’s how they work:

  • Baby: In this evolution, Optimus Prime basically enlarge himself into a fusion size.
  • Classic: In this evolution, Optimus Prime wields an Energon Axe to do a melee attack on the enemies.
  • Super: In Super evolution, Optimus Prime heals himself and anyone nearby after he takes damage from enemies.

Optimus Prime is available to unlock during the first week of the Transformers event in Squad Busters

Elita-1

Elita-1 is another epic character in Squad Busters that shoots a laser beam and has boosted firepower and size. She is very impressive in long range and wields a turbocharger. This character also comes under three evolution stages. Here are the details of them:

  • Baby: Just like Optimus Prime in Baby Evolution, Elita-1 also becomes huge as a fusion size.
  • Classic: In Classic Evolution, her attack speed is increased due to her Turbo ability.
  • Super: Her Turbo ability will last longer.

Elita-1 will be available to play during the second week of the Transformers event in Squad Buster.

5 open world games to check out while you wait for GTA 6 https://www.destructoid.com/5-open-world-games-to-check-out-while-you-wait-for-gta-6/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=5-open-world-games-to-check-out-while-you-wait-for-gta-6 https://www.destructoid.com/5-open-world-games-to-check-out-while-you-wait-for-gta-6/#respond Sat, 21 Sep 2024 13:56:57 +0000 https://www.destructoid.com/?p=588248 An image of main characters in GTA 6.

If you’re eagerly waiting for GTA 6, you’re probably itching for some open-world action in the meantime. Luckily, there are plenty of awesome games out there to try while you get the hang of the open world games. Each one has its own vibe, whether you’re into modern settings, classic adventures, or something more casual.

What are the best games to play while waiting for GTA 6?

Red Dead Redemption 2

An image of Arthur on boat in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Image via Steam

Starting off the list with Red Dead Redemption 2 from Rockstar Games, same developer for GTA 6. If you haven’t played this gem yet, you’re in for a treat. This game sets in the late 1800s, where you play Arthur Morgan, an outlaw trying to survive against the government and deal with the decline of the Wild West. To be frank, you can spend hours playing this game as the side quests are as engaging as the main storyline, plus the attention to detail is insane.

Sleeping Dogs

An image of Mrs. Shu in Sleeping Dogs.

Next up is Sleeping Dogs. This one flies a bit under the radar compared to some other open-world titles but deserves a spot on your list. It is set in Hong Kong, where you play as Wei Shen, an undercover cop infiltrating the city’s triads. The martial arts combat is a highlight here; you’ll find yourself executing stylish moves and combos that make every fight feel cinematic.

Watch Dogs

An image of Raymond Kenney in Watch Dogs.
Image via Steam

If you're into tech and find hacking intriguing, you should definitely check out Watch Dogs. The game takes place in Chicago, where you play as Aiden Pearce, a vigilante hacker. You’ll be using technology to take control of the city—hacking into cameras, messing with traffic lights, and even stealing info from your enemies. It’s pretty cool how you can manipulate the environment around you.

Far Cry 6

An image of Dani Rojas and Philly Barzaga in Far Cry 6.

But if you are more into safari and jungle vibes, Far Cry 6 is for you. It takes you to a fictional Caribbean island called Yara, which is ruled by a dictator called Antón Castillo. You will play as Dani Rojas, a guerrilla fighter trying to challenge the dictatorship in the Island.

Cyberpunk 2077

An image of a police chase in Cyberpunk 2077.

Last but not least, Cyberpunk 2077 has made a strong comeback since its rocky launch. This game set in the Night City, where you play as V, a mercenary trying to make his name. Basically, you can configure your body and mind with cybernetics and augmentations in this game. Spoiler alert: if you like Keanu Reeves, then you should definitely check out his cameo in the game.

Squad Busters x Transformers update: Battle Mod, new characters, and more https://www.destructoid.com/squad-busters-x-transformers-update-battle-mod-new-characters-and-more/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=squad-busters-x-transformers-update-battle-mod-new-characters-and-more https://www.destructoid.com/squad-busters-x-transformers-update-battle-mod-new-characters-and-more/#respond Mon, 16 Sep 2024 17:47:28 +0000 https://www.destructoid.com/?p=598694 A promo image of Squad Busters x Transformers update.

Squad Busters just announced an exciting collaboration with the Transformers franchise. Supercell, the developer behind the game, has introduced two new characters and a Battle Mod inspired by Transformers.

Along with that, they’ve also rolled out a new Star Chest that lets you unlock rare characters and forms. Here's everything in the Squad Busters x Transformer update.

New characters in Squad Busters x Transformer update

https://youtu.be/WQXF1XqmwPc?si=ApbsrtagrcDXO12-

The Squad Busters x Transformers update brings two new characters to the game. Here are their names:

  • Optimus Prime
  • Elite-1

What’s even better is that they’re joining as permanent characters, so you can enjoy them long after the update. On top of that, any characters from outside the Supercell universe will come in three forms:

  • Baby
  • Classic
  • Super

How to unlock Optimus Prime and Elita-1 in Squad Busters

Unlocking the Optimus Prime and Elita-1 is pretty simple. All you had to do was collect Energon from battles and progress through the event to unlock them. Optimus Prime is available to unlock in the first week of the Transformer event and Elita-2 in the second week. However, if you failed to unlock them during the event, you can still unlock them afterwards from the shop.

What is Star Chest in Squad Busters?

Squad Busters has also introduced a Star Chest that provides you with premium items like new characters, Super, Ultra, or Ultimate forms of characters that you currently possess. If you open the game on Monday, September 16, 2024, you can grab 10 free star chests.

All characters that are found in the Green World in Squad Busters are receiving an Ultimate Evolution. If you evolve a Green World character into an ultimate, a special ability as well as a dedicated Ultimate skin are unlocked.

What is the new Battle Mod in the Squad Busters x Transformers update?

Squad Busters has also added a new battle mod called “Unicron Attacks,” which is all about the Transformers event. In this Battle Mod, you'll face off against Autobots like Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and more.

New skins in Squad Busters x Transformers update

A new set of skins has been introduced in the latest Squad Busters x Transformers update. These skins are based on the Autobots versions of Archer Queen, Barbarian, Chicken, and Medic.

What is the start date and end date of the Transformer event in Squad Busters?

The Transformer event has already begun and will end on September 30, 2024.

Pillar Chase 2 (Roblox) tier list: All monsters, ranked https://www.destructoid.com/pillar-chase-2-roblox-tier-list-all-monsters-ranked/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=pillar-chase-2-roblox-tier-list-all-monsters-ranked https://www.destructoid.com/pillar-chase-2-roblox-tier-list-all-monsters-ranked/#respond Mon, 16 Sep 2024 15:41:57 +0000 https://www.destructoid.com/?p=598577 An image of loading screen in Pillar Chase 2.;

If you’re into survival horror games, you should definitely check out Pillar Chase 2. In this Roblox game, you either try to survive against Monsters whose sole aim is to take you down or become a Monster yourself to capture the survivors. Some Monsters are more dangerous than others, thanks to their impressive abilities, attacks, and speed.

To help you figure out which Monster might be your best bet, we’ve put together a tier list for all the Monsters in Pillar Chase 2.

Piller Chase 2 (Roblox) Monsters tier list

A promo image of Pillar Chase 2.
Image via Roblox

As of now, there are 14 Monsters in Pillar Chase 2. Here is the tier list:

Tier Monster
S MX, Forest King
A Niloticus, The Fogborn, Ao Oni, WYST, Fuwatti
B Baldi, Vita Mimic, Springtrap
C Uncle Samsonite, EXE
D Vapor, Rosemary

S-Tier

  • MX
  • Forest King

These S-Tier Monsters are incredibly strong and give you a solid chance of capturing survivors. The key is to master their abilities—once you do, you’ll be a real powerhouse in the game. However, even S-Tier Monsters aren’t invincible; a savvy survivor with a good strategy can still outplay you.

A-Tier

  • Niloticus
  • The Fogborn
  • Ao Oni
  • WYST
  • Fuwatti

A-Tier Monsters are quite effective and can give S-Tier Monsters a run for their money. They’re easier to master compared to S-Tier Monsters, though they may lack in certain areas like speed or attack power. With practice, you can make up for these shortcomings. While you can definitely use A-Tier Monsters, keep in mind they’re not quite on the same level as S-Tier ones.

B-Tier

  • Baldi
  • Vita Mimic
  • Springtrap

B-Tier Monsters have their strengths but aren’t the best in every situation. They’re decent for grinding and learning the game. However, since survivors generally have an edge over B-Tier Monsters, you’ll need to really get a handle on their abilities to stay competitive.

C-Tier

  • Uncle Samsonite
  • EXE

C-Tier Monsters aren’t great, but if you’re just starting out, they can be a good way to learn the game’s basics. They might give you a slim chance to capture survivors, though it’s definitely a long shot. Using C-Tier Monsters can help you understand the game mechanics better before moving on to more powerful options.

D-Tier

  • Vapor
  • Rosemary

D-Tier Monsters are generally not worth your time. Beginners often start here, but sticking with them will likely mean giving the match away to the survivors. It’s better to aim for C-Tier Monsters as a starting point and then work your way up to higher tiers as you improve.

As the name suggests, NFL Universe Football is a Roblox game based on American Football. Like many games these days, it features a battle pass system where you can snag rewards as you advance through the tiers. Here's the interesting part: the battle pass is tied to your overall rating (OVR). The higher your OVR, the more tiers you unlock in the season pass.

The Season Pass has two tiers: Free and Premium, and it starts at 20 OVR and goes all the way up to 100 OVR. Once you hit 100 OVR, you'll earn a gold star badge that shows up in chat, plus you'll unlock 55 additional tiers with rewards like coins and packs. Here's a quick rundown of what you can expect:

Adopt Me! (Roblox) Cranky’s Crazy Currents event: Wishing Well, new pets, and more https://www.destructoid.com/adopt-me-roblox-crankys-crazy-currents-event-wishing-well-new-pets-and-more/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=adopt-me-roblox-crankys-crazy-currents-event-wishing-well-new-pets-and-more https://www.destructoid.com/adopt-me-roblox-crankys-crazy-currents-event-wishing-well-new-pets-and-more/#respond Mon, 16 Sep 2024 15:38:20 +0000 https://www.destructoid.com/?p=598076 A screenshot of the Cranky's Crazy Currents in Adopt Me!

Adopt Me! is a very simple Roblox game where you have to adopt and raise pets. Basically, it gives you a fun home vibe. However, to spice things up, Uplift Games, the developers have introduced a new event called Cranky's Crazy Currents where you can explore underwater, collect Cranky Coins, and use the Wishing Well.

What is Cranky's Crazy Currents event in Adopt Me!

A screenshot of Tim in Cranky's Crazy Currents event in Adopt Me!
Screenshot by Destructoid

With the new Cranky's Crazy Currents event, you can dive into an underwater adventure in Adopt Me! Getting started is easy.: just find Tim, a guide from Cranky Tour, and pay him 1,000 bucks for a tour. After each tour, there’s a 20-minute cooldown. If you’re low on bucks, you can always buy more with Robux.

What is Wishing Well in Adopt Me!

Once you're exploring underwater, you can collect Cranky Coins to unlock new pets at the Wishing Well. There are two types of wishes you can make: Big Wish and Small Wish. A Big Wish costs 4,000 coins, while a Small Wish costs 1,000 coins.

So, what happens when you make a wish at the Wishing Well? You’ll summon pets of various rarities depending on your choice of wish. There are five different rarities of pets you can get. Here’s the breakdown:

Pet Rarity
Urchin Common
Dracula Fish Uncommon
Sea Angel Rare
Lionfish Ultra-Rare
Kraken Legendary

How to unlock new pets in Wishing Well in Adopt Me!

The chances of getting a certain rarity of pets depend on the wish you make in Wishing Well. Here’s how the odds break down:

  • Common: With a Small Wish, you’ve got a 39% chance of getting a common pet. A Big Wish, on the other hand, gives you a better shot at higher rarities.
  • Uncommon: For a Small Wish, there’s a 30% chance you’ll get an uncommon pet. Uncommon pets aren’t available with Big Wishes.
  • Rare: With a Small Wish, you’ve got a 20% chance of getting a Rare pet, roughly once in every five wishes. Like Uncommon pets, Rare pets aren’t available with Big Wishes either.
  • Ultra Rare: Ultra Rare pets are pretty tough to get from a Small Wish, with only a 10% chance. However, your odds improve to 40% with a Big Wish.
  • Legendary: It is extremely hard to unlock a legendary pet as it has only a 1% pull chance, while it has an 8% pull chance from Big Wish.

What are the start and end dates of Cranky's Crazy Currents event in Adopt Me!

Cranky's Crazy Currents event in Adopt Me! has already begun, and it will end on September 27, 2024.

Dead By Daylight killer tier list: All DdD killers, ranked https://www.destructoid.com/dead-by-daylight-killer-tier-list-all-ddd-killers-ranked/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=dead-by-daylight-killer-tier-list-all-ddd-killers-ranked https://www.destructoid.com/dead-by-daylight-killer-tier-list-all-ddd-killers-ranked/#respond Sat, 14 Sep 2024 14:30:59 +0000 https://www.destructoid.com/?p=597603 An image of The Wraith and The Trapper in Dead by Daylight.

In Dead by Daylight, you’ve got two main roles: you’re either one of the five survivors or the killer. If you’re the killer, your job is straightforward: capture and sacrifice all four survivors before they manage to repair the five generators and make their escape through the exit gate.

With 37 Killers in Dead by Daylight, each with their own unique abilities and add-ons, choosing the right one is a bit overwhelming. That’s why we’ve put together a tier list of all Killers in Dead by Daylight.

Dead By Daylight killer tier list

An image of The Blight in Dead by Daylight.
Image via Behaviour Interactive

Tier Killer
S The Blight, The Nurse, The Executioner, The Lich
A The Mastermind, The Wraith, The Dark Lord, The Spirit, The Xenomorph, The Huntress,
B The Good Guy, The Doctor, The Nemesis, The Knight, The Singularity, The Trickster, The Artist, The Unknown,
C The Legion, The Dredge, The Plague, The Oni, The Deathslinger, The Pig, The Plague, The Hag, The Twins
D The Shape, The Cannibal, The Ghost Face, The Onryo, The Nightmare, The Clown, The Trapper, The Skull Merchant, The Demogorgon, The Cenobite

S-Tier

  • The Blight
  • The Nurse
  • The Executioner
  • The Lich

S-Tier Killers are your best bet if you want to make a lot of sacrifices. They’re really powerful, but their abilities can be a bit challenging to master. If you’re after something simpler, A-Tier Killers are a solid choice.

A-Tier

  • The Mastermind
  • The Wraith
  • The Dark Lord
  • The Spirit
  • The Xenomorph
  • The Huntress

These A-Tier Killers are what you should aim to unlock, as they can help you excel in the game without breaking much sweat. It's not so much different in terms of strength with the S-Tier Killers, but with time, you might have to switch to S-Tier Killers if you are getting matched with the veteran players.

B-Tier

  • The Good Guy
  • The Doctor
  • The Nemesis
  • The Knight
  • The Singularity
  • The Trickster
  • The Artist
  • The Unknown

Honestly, these B-tier killers are good to use, but only to a certain extent; therefore, if you are planning to grind, you should look for high-tier Killers.

C-Tier

  • The Legion
  • The Dredge
  • The Plague
  • The Oni
  • The Deathslinger
  • The Pig
  • The Hag
  • The Twins

These C-Tier Killers are good for beginners who want to grasp the game dynamics of Dead by Daylight. However, it doesn’t change away the fact that these Killers are utterly useless at some point.

D-Tier

  • The Shape
  • The Cannibal
  • The Ghost Face
  • The Onryo
  • The Nightmare
  • The Clown
  • The Trapper
  • The Skull Merchant
  • The Demogorgon
  • The Cenobite

D-tier killers are best avoided because they don’t offer much of an advantage against survivors. If you’re just starting out, it’s a good idea to aim for higher-tier Killers instead. They’ll give you a better shot at success in the game.

Clash of Clans Treasure Hunt Event chest rarities, rewards, end date, and more https://www.destructoid.com/clash-of-clans-treasure-hunt-event-chest-rarities-rewards-end-date-and-more/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=clash-of-clans-treasure-hunt-event-chest-rarities-rewards-end-date-and-more https://www.destructoid.com/clash-of-clans-treasure-hunt-event-chest-rarities-rewards-end-date-and-more/#respond Fri, 13 Sep 2024 19:37:37 +0000 https://www.destructoid.com/?p=597308 An image of a Barbarian in Clash of Clans.

Clash of Clans just dropped a bunch of new features in the September update, and one of the coolest additions is the Treasure Hunt event. This new event adds a fun twist to your attacks by introducing a mystery element. Let's dive into what you can expect from this “Treasure Hunt” event.

What is the Treasure Hunt event in Clash of Clans?

In the Treasure Hunt event, your goal is to destroy buildings and defenses to uncover Treasure Chests. These chests are pretty rare, and you can only find one per match. So, if you’re aiming to get your hands on a chest, you’ll need to go for a 100% win.

Here’s the catch: you can collect only three chests every two days, and once you’ve grabbed your limit, there’s a 48-hour cooldown before you can collect more. This rule only applies to Home Village attacks.

What are the rewards in the Treasure Hunt event in Clash of Clans?

A screenshot of getting a Super Potion from a Treasure Chest in Clash of Clans.
Screenshot by Destructoid

The Treasure Chests contain a variety of rewards based on their rarity and your Town Hall and Builder Hall levels. You could get items like Gold, Capital Gold, Dark Elixir, Super Potions, and more. Keep in mind that these chests can’t be bought—they’re only available through Home Village attacks.

What are the different rarities of Treasure Chest in Clash of Clans?

There are four types of Treasure Chest rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. When you first find a chest, it’s a Common one. To find out what kind of rarity it is, you have to hammer down the Treasure Chest. However, there’s a catch—you can only hammer on a chest up to four times before it’s opened.

What is the end date of the Treasure Hunt event in Clash of Clans?

The Treasure Hunt event was delayed due to some unexpected issues. Once it’s back on track, it’ll run for 20 days from the start date.

Pokemon GO: What is Dynamax Band? https://www.destructoid.com/pokemon-go-what-is-dynamax-band/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=pokemon-go-what-is-dynamax-band https://www.destructoid.com/pokemon-go-what-is-dynamax-band/#respond Fri, 13 Sep 2024 17:53:00 +0000 https://www.destructoid.com/?p=597141 An image of the Dynamax Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur in Pokemon GO.

Pokemon GO just rolled out its new Dynamax feature that makes Pokemon way, way bigger, and adds an ominous red glow and cloudy backdrop to their surroundings. You can find these Dynamax Pokémon at Power Spots and take them on in Max Battles.

Plus, to celebrate the update, there's a new Dynamax Band available. Below, we'll explain how Pokemon GO's Dynamax Band works, along with how to get it in the new Max Out update.

What is Dynamax Band in Pokemon GO?

An image of Dynamax Band in Pokemon GO.

The Dynamax Band is a cosmetic item in Pokemon GO that trainers can wear on their wrist. The cosmetic is just for show, so you don't need it to participate in Max Battles. And the best part? It’s free. Getting one is pretty simple—just complete four tasks from the third part of the 'To The Max!' challenge.

How to get Dynamax Band in Pokemon GO

To get the Dynamax Band in Pokemon GO, you need to complete these four tasks from the 'To The Max!' challenge:

  • Task 1: Win a Max Battle to earn 100 Max Particles.
  • Task 2: Unlock a Max Move, and you’ll get 10 Ultra Balls.
  • Task 3: Win three Max Battles to score two Pinap Berries.
  • Task 4: Catch a Max Pokémon, and you’ll be rewarded with 2,500 Stardust.

Once you’ve wrapped up all these tasks, you’ll get the Dynamax Band, along with 4,000 Stardust and 8,000 XP in Pokemon GO.

Spectre Divide weapons tier list: Best weapons, ranked https://www.destructoid.com/spectre-divide-weapons-tier-list-best-weapons-ranked/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=spectre-divide-weapons-tier-list-best-weapons-ranked https://www.destructoid.com/spectre-divide-weapons-tier-list-best-weapons-ranked/#respond Mon, 09 Sep 2024 20:27:12 +0000 https://www.destructoid.com/?p=593738 An image of two characters in battle in Spectre Divide.

Spectre Divide offers 20 different weapons each round, and a lot of players end up going for the most expensive ones, thinking it’ll guarantee a win. While that is true sometimes, it’s not always the case. Since the game is still fresh, it’s worth taking some time to get a feel for the combat and figure out which weapon suits your play style best.

With that in mind, we’ve put together a tier list for all the weapons in Spectre Divide to help you figure out which ones are worth mastering.

Spectre Divide weapons tier list

Tier Weapons
S Prototype-OP, Duster RX6, Whisper, Berserker RB3, Cyclone
A M67 Reaver, Tempest, Trident, Harpe, Crusader, Blackout
B Shiv, Buzzsaw RT40, M25 Hornet, M18 Drummer,
C M17 Bouncer, M10 Brat, M49 Fury, M2 Carbon
D Knife

S-Tier

A screenshot of the Prototype-OP in Spectre Divide.
Screenshot by Destructoid

  • Prototype-OP
  • Duster RX6
  • Whisper
  • Berserker RB3
  • Cyclone

S-Tier weapons are super popular because they dish out serious damage. Whether you’re landing headshots with a single shot or going for a crazy spray, these are the weapons you definitely want to have.

A-Tier

A screenshot of the Trident in Spectre Divide.
Screenshot by Destructoid

  • M67 Reaver
  • Tempest
  • Trident
  • Harpe
  • Crusader
  • Blackout

A-Tier weapons deliver damage similar to S-Tier weapons, but their instability is what keeps them from the top tier. With some practice, though, you can get the hang of them, and they’ll perform just as well as S-Tier weapons.

B-Tier

A screenshot of the Shiv in Spectre Divide.
Screenshot by Destructoid

  • Shiv
  • Buzzsaw RT40
  • M25 Hornet
  • M18 Drummer

B-Tier weapons are really handy in clutch situations and are a solid choice if you’ve got a decent budget. They’re also some of the more affordable options, which makes them great for honing your skills in Spectre Divide. If I were just starting out and finding S-Tier and A-Tier weapons a bit tricky, I’d definitely go with B-Tier to get a better feel for the combat mechanics.

C-Tier

A screenshot of the M17 Bouncer in Spectre Divide.
Screenshot by Destructoid

  • M17 Bouncer
  • M10 Brat
  • M49 Fury
  • M2 Carbon

C-Tier weapons might not be your best bet for clutch moments, but if you’re running low on funds, they are still worth a try. Honestly, getting one or two kills with them is enough to help you upgrade to better weapons in the next round. However, B-Tier weapons are in a similar price range, so it makes more sense to go with those instead.

D-Tier

A screenshot of the Melee Knife in Spectre Divide.
Screenshot by Destructoid

  • Knife

In the D-Tier, you’ll find the melee knife. Not surprising, really—it doesn’t give you much of an edge and is basically just a last-ditch option. Most people steer clear of using it.

Clash of Clans just dropped their September 2025 update, and it’s a big one. We’re talking new Magic Snacks, Supercharges, and a bunch of other cool stuff.

Supercell, the developers of Clash of Clans, also rolled out the Clan Notice Board feature where leaders and co-leaders can post custom messages for everyone in the clan to see. Take a look at the full patch notes to get all the details.

Clash of Clans September 2024 update patch note

https://twitter.com/ClashofClans/status/1833065052116574510

  • The Clan Leader and Co-leaders can write a custom message on the Notice Board or use Clan Description as the text of the notice. In addition, the background image of the notice can be customized.
  • Players looking for Clans will be presented with Notices from the Clans that fit them the most, including criteria of other Clan members’ activity and other various aspects that the game will take into consideration automatically.
  • Changing Language or Family-Friendly Clan Settings will unpublish the Clan Notice, and the Notice will have to be re-published. There will be a confirmation dialog before settings are changed and the Notice gets unpublished.
  • Players can still search for Clans with their name or Clan Tag and with Advanced Options.

Magic Snacks

  • Available during the September Treasure Hunt Event, we are introducing a new, more fun way to reward players with temporary boosts to their builders, heroes, troops, equipment, and research!
  • Magic Snacks will only be available during the Treasure Hunt Event for now, and can only be won through the Event's Chests. During this Event, players can win up to 3 Magic Snacks every 48 hours.
  • Magic Snacks expire within 24 hours and cannot be accumulated or sold like magic items, so you better use them fast!
  • They are stored in their own dedicated storage, which will become available when the very first Magic Snack is obtained.
  • There will be a total of six Magic Snacks in this update: Builder Bite, Study Soup, Mighty Morsel, Power Pancakes, Training Treat, and Clan Castle Cake.

Treasure Hunt: Coming on September 11-30!

  • There is a new, fun way to obtain more rewards from your Multiplayer attacks!
  • In the upcoming Treasure Hunt, we will introduce players to a new concept of looking for Chests in their attacks and obtaining those for extra rewards!
  • Players will be hunting down Chests, which, after attacking, can be opened up for extra rewards containing Resources, Decorations, Skins, Hero Equipment, Magic Snacks, and Magic Items, including Hammers!
  • Players can encounter four different types of Chests while trying to open them: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary.
  • However, not all highlighted treasure locations will contain a Chest! Some will contain a decoy, and players must search for the real one.
  • Up to three Chests will be available at the event's start and will refresh every 48 hours.

Supercharge

https://twitter.com/ClashofClans/status/1832690342900212195

Are you done with all your building upgrades? Then it's time to SUPERCHARGE! Push your buildings to the limit by upgrading them further to reach their maximum level!

  • Starting in Town Hall 16, Supercharges are new optional extra buffs for some buildings. They differ from normal upgrades in a few ways:

    • Small: They are shorter, cost less, and give smaller stat buffs.
    • Max Level Only: They can only be done when the building has reached its maximum level.
    • Temporary: When a new level for a building is released, all previous supercharges made at that level are depleted, and those buildings lose their buffs.

  • Each building can be Supercharged up to three times, each time buffing a different stat adding a more powerful lightning visual effect to your building!
  • To Supercharge your buildings you need to employ one of your Builders and spend a few resources.
  • There's a currently an known bug with Supercharges: When you start a Supercharge upgrade, the building is not disabled. This mean that the upgrading Defense will still defend while upgrading and both Collectors & Mines will still generate Resources We will be releasing in the future an optional update to fix this.

Introducing Legendary Scenery: Clash of Dragons

  • This scenery will feature incredibly detailed large-scale regions and elements that have never been seen before in Clash of Clans. Some additional details and visual features are transition animations, and cut scenes that are hand-made for these sceneries to make them extra special and unique. We will also roll out a behind-the-scenes video explaining the process of creating such detailed and elaborate cosmetic content.
  • These kinds of scenery will only come out occasionally as they take an order of magnitude more time than the regular-size Sceneries that players have come to expect in the game. In terms of the physical size of Legendary Sceneries, they are over six times the size of the previous sceneries that we released in the game.

Hard Mode changes

  • Common Hero Equipment levels are now capped at level 15.
  • Epic Hero Equipment levels are now capped at level 21.
  • Attacking Hero DPS -5% (from -15%).
  • Attacking Hero HP -5% (from -10%).
  • Defense building DPS +5% (no change).

Quality of life improvements

  • Tactical Overview is now enabled in Village Edit Mode, as well as while scouting in Wars.
  • All Puppet Equipment now has a button to see the troop that will be summoned.
  • When trying to purchase something for gems, the pop-up prompting you to purchase gems will now detail how many gems you were missing.
  • The War Map will now display the donated amount and total capacity of each player's Clan Castle troops instead of the word “Donate“.
  • The Single Player and Practice tabs will now display your progress on the tab itself.
  • A pop-up will now ask you to confirm your signing up for the Legend League.
  • Seasonal Obstacles are now bundled by the corresponding season in the layout editor inventory.
  • A confirmation popup is now shown if trying to exit Clan settings with unsaved changes.
  • The Clan popup is no longer closed after editing settings. ‘My Clan’ tab is shown instead with updated settings.
  • ZZZ playing from Worker Huts is now consistent with whether or not that builder is actively working.

Economy Balance Changes

  • We would like to give players more rewards for battling! So, to do that, we increased the Dark Elixir rewards in the League bonus for most Leagues, and we increased the percentage of resources that players can loot from storages! This means that you can steal more from Storages from others, but be careful—this also applies to your own Storages!

Bug fixes

  • Magic Mirror Clones no longer receive damage boost from Invisibility vials or any equipment.
  • Clones from Magic Mirror no longer affect the re-deployment time of Archer Queen.
  • Clones from Magic Mirror no longer receive passive DPS buffs from equipment.
  • Fixed an issue where some player names could contain invisible characters. These characters are no longer allowed to be used.
  • Fixed an issue where performing an attack that completes the Star Bonus consumes Shield twice.
  • Google Play Games PC: Clan Castle and Siege Machines now share the same shortcut key.

If you’re a fan of anime, you definitely need to check out Anime Royale, as it is an awesome crossover where characters from a bunch of different anime shows team up and battle it out. You’ll need to assemble your own team and take on several raids to make progress. With 30 units currently in the game, it can be a bit overwhelming to figure out which ones are the best for your team.

Don’t worry, though. To help you out, we’ve put together a tier list for all the units in Anime Royale, sorted into categories: S, A, B, C, and D.

Anime Royale (Roblox) units tier-list

Before we get into the nitty-gritty, here’s the scoop: to do a gacha pull, you’ll need 50 gems in Anime Royale. If you’re rocking a VIP game pass, it’s just 40 gems per pull. Each time you pull, you’ll rack up 0.25% mythic pity and 2% legendary pity. In plain terms, the odds of snagging S-Tier units are pretty slim—think 400 pulls to be in the running. This means you’ll get an A-Tier unit within a maximum of 50 pulls.

Tier Anime Royale Units
S Keneki, Manara, Friend, Freeze [Final], Ulquioro (Second), Stabs, Jotero
A Itchy, Sosoke (Kirin), Goko Dark, Ulquorio, Lawlight, Microw
B Zonitsu, Netsu, Freeze, Kekeshi, Inusuke
C Vegetable, Roro, Sanji, Aligator, Goko, Pickle, Kokoin
D Tojiro, Noroto, Sosoke, Ryko, Nemo

S-Tier

A screenshot of the Manara unit in Anime Royale.
Screenshot by Destructoid

It is very hard to obtain the S-Tier units in Anime Royale as they are high in rarity. And it is obvious that they will provide you immense value and power if you keep them in your squad. Remember that they will be an x-factor if used while in Raids, so make sure to keep an eye on them.

Name Real character name Rarity Anime
Keneki Ken Kaneki Mythical Tokyo Ghoul
Manara Madara Mythical Naruto: Shippuden
Friend Frieren Secret Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
Freeze (Final) Frieza Final Form Mythical Dragon Ball Z
Ulquioro (Second) Second Release: Ulquiorra Cifer Mythical Bleach
Stabs Shanks Mythical One Piece
Jotero Jotaro Kujo Mythical Jojo's BIzarre Adventure

A-Tier

A-Tier units are really useful in raids and are a good stand-in for the S-Tier units. If you’re new to the game, these are great to aim for because they’ll help you make solid progress. With the right team setup, these units can definitely get the job done.

Name Real character name Rarity Anime
Itchy Itachi Uchiha Legendary Naruto
Sosoke (Kirin) Sasuke Legendary Naruto: Shippuden
Goko Dark Black Goku Legendary Dragon Ball Super
Ulquorio Ulquiorra Cifer Legendary Bleach
Lawlight L Legendary Death Note
Microw Mihawk Legendary One Piece

B-Tier

B-Tier units are decent if you’re just starting out and want to get a handle on raids. With the right team setup, they can give you a bit of an edge, but they might not shine on their own. If you’re really into Anime Royale, you’ll want to aim for A-Tier or higher units for the best results.

Name Real character name Rarity Anime
Zonitsu Zenitsu Legendary Demon Slayer
Netsu Natsu Dragneel Legendary Fairy Tail
Freeze Frieza Legendary Dragon Ball Z
Kekeshi Kakashi Rare Naruto
Inusuke Inosuke Rare Demon Slayer

C-Tier

A screenshot of the Vegetable unit in Anime Royale.
Screenshot by Destructoid

Even though these C-Tier units have well-known names from the anime, they’re not very effective in Anime Royale. If you have them, you might want to think about replacing them. That said, if you’re just starting out, they can give you a feel for the game in raids or story mode. Just keep in mind their usefulness is pretty limited.

Name Real character name Rarity Anime
Vegetable Vegeta Common Demon Slayer
Roro Zoro Common Fairy Tail
Sanji Sanji Common Dragon Ball Z
Aligator Crocodile Rare One Piece
Goko Goku (Basic Form) Common Dragon Ball Z
Pickle Piccolo Rare Demon Slayer
Kokoin Noriaki Kakyoin Rare Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure

D-Tier

If you’re new to the game, you’re probably using these units. However, they’re not great for raids—they offer minimal advantage and are actually a liability for your team. It’s a good idea to start by unlocking C-Tier units and work your way up to the higher tiers as you progress.

Name Real character name Rarity Anime
Tojiro Tanjiro Common Demon Slayer
Noroto Kid Naruto Common Naruto
Sosoke Kid Sasuke Common Naruto
Ryko Ryūko Matoi Common Kill la Kill
Nemo Nami Common One Piece

Multiverse Tower Defense (Roblox) tier list: All characters, ranked https://www.destructoid.com/multiverse-tower-defense-roblox-tier-list-all-characters-ranked/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=multiverse-tower-defense-roblox-tier-list-all-characters-ranked https://www.destructoid.com/multiverse-tower-defense-roblox-tier-list-all-characters-ranked/#respond Sat, 07 Sep 2024 14:05:04 +0000 https://www.destructoid.com/?p=593074 A screenshot of lobby area in Multiverse Tower Defense.

Multiverse Tower Defense is a cool Roblox game featuring an epic crossover with anime characters. Like any tower defense game, you have to summon characters from various anime universes. Right now, there are 15 characters in Multiverse Tower Defense. You’ll need to train them up and build a squad to defend your tower from hordes of enemies.

However simple it may look, you may have trouble understanding the best characters to put in your team. To help you with that, we have created a tier list of all characters in Multiverse Tower Defense. We have categorized the tier list into four groups: S, A, B, and C to give you a better understanding.

Multiverse Tower Defense (Roblox) characters tier list

S-Tier

Name Cost Range Attack SPA
Doughking $13,400 53 2500 1 sec
Red Warrior $11,100 73 2460 3.5 sec
Lou $9,250 70 2400 3 sec
God Supa 2 $9,300 70 5700 8 sec

S-Tier characters provide the best value for your team with a downside of high cost. It may be hard for you to buy them at first, but once you have them, you can literally dominate the game.

A-Tier

Name Cost Range Attack SPA
Legendary God $5,000 35 2300 3.5 sec
Truco $8,800 45 4400 5.5 sec
White Emperor $3,500 60 1950 3 sec
Black Leg $3,000 35 2500 3.5 sec

These A-tier characters in Anime Royale are the ones you should aim for if you are a newbie. I know why not S-tier characters; the simple answer is that they are cheaper than the S-tier ones. If you use them correctly, they can provide an ultimate edge over the enemies and help you defend the towers.

B-Tier

Name Cost Range Attack SPA
God Black $2,920 51 1580 3.5 sec

These B-Tier characters are the ones that you should use if you are just starting out. Remember, they can help you understand the game mechanics and progress the game. However, since they are B-tier, you should replace them as soon as you find a better one.

C-Tier

These C-tier characters are better off without using them because they are good for nothing. There is no value in even buying them, so it is better that you start with B-tier characters.

Name Cost Range Attack SPA
Spade $3,000 50 430 5 sec
Duffy $1,920 45 390 2.6 sec
Zuroh $1,920 42 194 0.8 sec
Koku $1,450 42 310 2.4 sec
Pikleoh $850 30 186 1.5 sec
Light Admiral $500 47 350 3 sec

Clash Royale has just revealed its plans for September, and they look massive. The P.E.K.K.A. vs Mega Knight season is already creating a buzz within the community, and we can expect a bunch of events and challenges centered around this epic showdown as the month goes on.

Both P.E.K.K.A. and Mega Knight are getting a Card Evolution, so be prepared for new challenges to test these upgrades in battle. Below, we've got a breakdown on Clash Royale's September 2024 roadmap, including details on dates for time-limited challenges like Beserk Mode, Mirror Challenge, and more.

Clash Royale September 2024 roadmap

https://twitter.com/ClashRoyale/status/1831692883478323572

P.E.K.K.A. Evo Launch

The P.E.K.K.A. Evolution is now live. You can dive into the action from September 2 to September 9. This will be available for both 1v1 and 2v2 battles.

  • Challenge: September 6-9
  • Event: September 2-9

Standard Challenge

Get back to basics with the Standard Challenge, starting on September 7 and running through September 11. It’s a classic way to earn rewards, though it might not tie directly into the current P.E.K.K.A. vs Mega Knight theme.

Berserk Mode

Berserk Mode is all about those raging Barbarians. You’ll either have a raged Barbarian in your deck or they’ll randomly pop up on both sides at intervals to shake things up. This mode will be available for 1v1 and 2v2.

  • Challenge: September 13-16
  • Event: September 9-16

MK vs P.E.K.K.A. Draft

In the MK vs P.E.K.K.A. Draft challenge, you and your opponent will choose between Mega Knight and P.E.K.K.A. The card you pick will be given to you, while the other goes to your opponent. This special challenge runs from September 14 to September 19 and is a 1v1-only affair.

Spawn Melee

Details are still coming in, but it looks like this challenge might let you use the Mega Knight Evolution in battle.

  • Challenge: September 20-23
  • Event: September 16-23

Mirror Challenge

The Mirror Challenge is a throwback to the good old days. Both you and your opponent will use the same deck, but with a Mirror card included. This challenge kicks off on September 21 and goes until September 25.

Four Card Decks

As the name suggests, you’ll only be able to choose four cards for your deck. This challenge is available for both 1v1 and 2v2.

  • Challenge: September 27-30
  • Event: September 23-30

Super Knight vs Super Mini P.E.K.K.A

In Super Knight vs Super Mini P.E.K.K.A., we’ll see Super Knight and Super Mini P.E.K.K.A. battle it out. Super P.E.K.K.A. is a beefed-up version that can one-shot any tower, but what Super Knight can do is still under wraps. This will be available for both 1v1 and 2v2.

  • Challenge: October 4-7
  • Event: September 30 - October 7

Is Darth Vader in Star Wars Outlaws? https://www.destructoid.com/is-darth-vader-in-star-wars-outlaws/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=is-darth-vader-in-star-wars-outlaws https://www.destructoid.com/is-darth-vader-in-star-wars-outlaws/#respond Sun, 01 Sep 2024 15:00:00 +0000 https://www.destructoid.com/?p=589219 An image of Darth Vader in Star Wars Outlaws.

Darth Vader is a fan favorite in the Star Wars universe, so it’s no surprise players are eager to know if the legendary Sith Lord makes an appearance in Star Wars Outlaws.

The following article contains spoilers for Star Wars Outlaws, available now.

Does Darth Vader have a Star Wars Outlaws cameo?

To answer that question, yes, Darth Vader is in the game, but he is not a major character, so you can see only two prominent cameos, which don’t last too long. If you want to know more about those cameos, here is a rundown of them.

Before diving any further, note that it contains spoilers, so read it only if you have no problem.

Darth Vader confronts Director Sliro Barsha

An image of Darth Vader in Star Wars Outlaws.

The first cameo kicks off with a surprise meeting between Director Sliro Barsha, the main antagonist, and Darth Vader. Vader’s clearly ticked off because Zerek Besh hasn’t managed to capture the Rebel Alliances, which only highlights Sliro’s failures.

To make his point, Vader shatters a glass and threatens Barsha when he talks back. He then makes it clear that capturing the Rebel Alliances needs to be Barsha’s top priority.

Darth Vader shows up via a Holocomm

In the second cameo, Darth Vader shows up as a hologram to give Director Sliro Barsha a hard time about a security breach. He brushes off Sliro, saying the guy’s no longer useful to the Emperor. Vader also mentions that the Emperor has agreed to Jaylen Vrax’s terms.

Jaylen, who’s Sliro’s brother, struck a deal to capture the Akivan Rebels and hand over some sensitive info. In exchange, Jaylen will get Zerek Besh and Sliro.

Brawl Stars SpongeBob season: All new Hypercharges, explained https://www.destructoid.com/brawl-stars-spongebob-season-all-new-hypercharges-explained/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=brawl-stars-spongebob-season-all-new-hypercharges-explained https://www.destructoid.com/brawl-stars-spongebob-season-all-new-hypercharges-explained/#respond Fri, 30 Aug 2024 16:25:16 +0000 https://www.destructoid.com/?p=586168 An image of several SpongeBob characters in Brawl Stars.

Every season of Brawl Stars introduces new Hypercharges, and this time we’re seeing six new ones. Poco, Mortis, Squeak, Tara, Nani, and Surge are the Brawlers getting these upgrades in the Brawl Stars SpongeBob season. Here’s a quick look at what each Hypercharge brings.

All New Hypercharges in Brawl Stars SpongeBob Season

https://youtu.be/KEwxr8I4Gl8?si=PwjNdbvqPp_N2Ajc

Poco

Poco’s Super heals himself and any allies caught in his musical wave. With the new Hypercharge, his Super not only heals but also adds a shield based on the extra healing, providing Poco and his team with additional protection.

Mortis

Mortis’ Super summons a swarm of bats that damage enemies and heal Mortis. The Hypercharge makes the Super return to its maximum range, delivering full damage and healing effects.

Squeak

Squeak’s Super releases a large pile of goo that explodes into six smaller bombs. With the Hypercharge, the goo can bounce and split an extra time, making Squeak’s attacks more versatile and harder to avoid.

Tara

Tara’s Super creates a black hole that pulls in enemies and then explodes for damage. The Hypercharge increases the size and duration of the black hole, giving Tara more control over her enemies.

Nani

Nani’s Super deploys a drone-like machine called "Peep," which can be guided with the joystick and will explode on contact. With the Hypercharge, Peep’s size and speed are both increased, making it a more effective weapon.

Surge

Surge’s Super upgrades his stats to level three during gameplay in Brawl Stars. The Hypercharge boosts him to level five stats, and his shots will now split regardless of whether they hit an enemy or travel a certain distance. Additionally, his range is also increased.

Using a legendary card is a must now if you want to climb the ladder in Clash Royale. Choosing the right one is probably the toughest choice since some cards will complement your deck while others are so overpowered you can’t leave them out.

At the time of writing, there are currently 20 legendary cards available in Clash Royale, and we are going to rank each one of them to help you make the right choice. We’ll divide this tier list into five categories: S, A, B, C, and D.

Clash Royale legendary cards tier list

S-Tier

Starting with the S-tier, these legendary cards have the highest usage rate in Clash Royale because of their great supporting nature. Remember, you don't need all S-tier legendary cards to make a perfect deck; rather, focus on the benefits that a single S-tier legendary card can provide. For example, Mega Knight and Electro spawns with AoE damage, which makes them versatile against mini-troops.

  • The Log
  • Electro Wizard
  • Mega Knight

A-Tier

The majority of the A-tier cards are win conditions, and you shouldn't hesitate to keep them in your deck. But you shouldn’t use these cards to compliment others; instead, build your deck around them. These cards will suffice in the offense until you opt for a different rarity tank card with supporting S-Tier legendary cards.

  • Lumberjack
  • Ram Rider
  • Graveyard
  • Sparky

B-Tier

The majority of B-Tier cards are great at support, and you shouldn't miss having them in the deck. These legendary cards greatly complement the A-tier cards and are very effective in battle. The sole exception is Lava Hound, which is a tank; however, this card also acts as a complement for cards like Balloon since you can easily take an ultimate edge over your opponent.

  • Magic Archer
  • Princess
  • Bandit
  • Fisherman
  • Lava Hound
  • Inferno Dragon
  • Mother Witch

C-Tier

Except for the Miner, the players greatly underuse these C-tier cards. However, despite being a win-condition card, Miner is still not enough to take out an entire crown tower on its own since it has the lowest damage output among all legendary cards.

But he still made it to the C-tier because you can deploy him anywhere in the arena without any restrictions. You could keep these C-tier cards in the deck, but if you want to advance further in the ladder, then opt for higher-tier cards.

  • Miner
  • Night Witch
  • Phoenix
  • Royal Ghost

D-Tier

Not surprisingly, Ice Wizard is the only card in the D-tier. This card slows down enemy units, but it has no extra benefits. It has the second-lowest damage output among all the legendary cards and will die easily with a Fireball of the same level.

  • Ice Wizard

FC Mobile Dynasties guide: Pass, chapters, and more https://www.destructoid.com/fc-mobile-dynasties-guide-pass-chapters-and-more/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=fc-mobile-dynasties-guide-pass-chapters-and-more https://www.destructoid.com/fc-mobile-dynasties-guide-pass-chapters-and-more/#respond Fri, 23 Aug 2024 15:25:25 +0000 https://www.destructoid.com/?p=577339 An image of Dynasties event in FC Mobile.

The Dynasties event in FC Mobile is live, and the rewards are pretty impressive. Unlike any other event, it is very simple, as it has only two chapters and comes with a pass featuring 30 tiers. In this guide, we will break down everything you need to know about the Dynasties event in FC Mobile.

All FC Mobile Dynasties chapters

First chapter: Main

An image of Dynasties' main chapter in FC Mobile.

Daily training

To rack up Dynasties Points, complete three daily training sessions (2 x H2H and 1 x VS Attack). This earns you 100 Dynasties Points, 300,000 coins, and up to 400 Dynasties Pass Points, depending on how well you perform.

Weekly quests

You have to finish three weekly quests to earn Dynasties Points. Since this event runs for two weeks, you can complete up to six weekly quests, totaling 600 Dynasties Points. Upon finishing the tasks, you will also get 500,000 coins and a Dynasties standard pack, plus more Dynasties Pass Points.

Second chapter: Dynasties Connection

Once you’ve collected enough Dynasties Points, play the mini-game “Family Ties” to unlock 12 tiles. Each tile costs 50 Dynasties Points, and connecting two tiles from the same bloodline reveals a connection. After unlocking all the connections, you can claim all the available rewards in the chapter. Here’s what you get for each connection:

Connection Rewards
1 65-74 Base Player x30
2 93-101 Dynasties Player x1, 75-99 Mixed Version Player x2, 65-74 Base Player x2, 100,000 Coins
3 1,500,000 Coins
4 Gems x1000
5 96-101 Dynasties Player x1, 65-74 Base Player x2, 100,000 Coins
6 91 CDM: Javier Mascherano

After you have claimed the connection rewards, you will get milestone rewards. Here’s the catch: you have to choose one of three milestone rewards. Here are your options:

  1. 98 CAM: Carles Gil (Spain) + 94 RM: Nacho Gil (Spain)
  2. 98 ST: Rasmus Højlund (Denmark) + 94 ST: Emil Højlund (Denmark)
  3. 91 CDM: Javier Mascherano (Argentina) + 81 GK: Jerzy Dudek (Poland)

Personally, I would go with the first option, as the cards are versatile and can boost your team’s performance since they cover different positions. The second option is less ideal as both are strikers, while the third option has lower stats. But it does boil down to what you really want, so choose wisely.

FC Mobile Dynasties Pass

As mentioned before, the FC Mobile Dynasties Pass has 30 tiers and runs for two weeks. You can grab the pass for $10, or you can go for the pass bundle that comes with 2,000 Dynasties Pass Points for $20.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is going to release on October 31 in numerous editions for various platforms, such as PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Plus, when you pre-order, you will get some extra bonuses. Here's all you should know before pre-ordering the game.

All Dragon Age: The Veilguard pre-order bonuses & editions

Standard Edition

https://twitter.com/dragonage/status/1825610433669005388

Yes, this is the basic edition of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and it is available for both consoles and PCs. Price-wise, you will have to pay $59.99 on Steam or Epic for Windows, and $69.99 on the Xbox and PlayStation stores. I know it's frustrating that the console version costs $10 extra, but if you buy it from Best Buy, then you will get a $10 gift card after the game is shipped.

Don't worry; despite being the cheapest edition, it does provide you with a reward, which is a Blood Dragon Armor cosmetic. Or maybe you can save up your money to buy the Deluxe Edition for extra sweet items.

Deluxe Edition

The Deluxe Edition of any modern video game usually costs $20–$30 extra, but this one’s only $10 more. What do you get? You will receive a magic and rogue armor set for Rook, as well as seven weapons and armor sets for Companions. The pricing is $69.99 on Steam and Epic, and $79.99 on PlayStation and Xbox. However, if you are using a console, I recommend pre-ordering from Best Buy, as the Deluxe Edition also includes a $10 gift card.

Rook’s Coffer Edition

But if you want something really exclusive, you can buy the Rook's Coffer Edition. As suggested by the name, it is packed with cool stuff like the Rook's Deck, Light-up Lyrium Dagger, Enchanted Die, Potion Flask, and Thedas Map with Quiver Tube.

Do note that there are two versions of this edition: one that comes with the game, and one that only has the physical goodies. You can pre-order the game-included edition from GameStop for $219.99. Not only that, you will also receive some extra in-game cosmetics, like:

Six weapon appearances for Rook

  • Stave of the Fallen Kingdom
  • Bow of the Fallen Kingdom
  • Spellblade of the Fallen Kingdom
  • Blades of the Fallen Kingdom
  • Aegis of the Fallen Kingdom & Sword of the Fallen Kingdom
  • Maul of the Fallen Kingdom

One warrior armor set appearance for Rook

One mage armor set appearance for Rook

Brawl Stars tier list: All brawlers, ranked https://www.destructoid.com/brawl-stars-tier-list-all-brawlers-ranked/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=brawl-stars-tier-list-all-brawlers-ranked https://www.destructoid.com/brawl-stars-tier-list-all-brawlers-ranked/#respond Sun, 18 Aug 2024 14:20:37 +0000 https://www.destructoid.com/?p=579962 An image of several brawlers in Brawl Stars.

Finding the best brawler in Brawl Stars is a little bit difficult since there are currently 82 characters in the game. These characters belong to different classes, such as Damage Dealer, Tank, Marksman, Artillery, Controller, Assassin, and Support. With the aim of helping you select the most suitable one, we have made a tier list for each brawler in Brawl Stars.

Brawl Stars tier list for Brawlers

An image of several brawlers in Brawl Stars.
Image via Brawl Stars

S-Tier

Brawlers of S-tier are such a game-changer since they can give you a definitive lead over your opponent. To climb the Trophy Road and win more matches, you should focus on buying these brawlers first, as they help you gain more trophies in Brawl Stars.

  • Meg
  • Rico
  • Lily
  • Piper
  • Clancy
  • Gale

A-Tier

These A-tier brawlers are good only if you know how to use them in battle in Brawl Stars. That means having the best build in your repertoire, different line-ups to use in different matches, etc. Remember, with perfect use, they can even have the potential to beat the S-tier characters.

  • Colette
  • Sandy
  • Leon
  • Chester
  • Barley
  • Larry & Lawrie
  • Surge
  • Berry

B-Tier

These B-tier brawlers will suffice in a mid-ladder until you unlock an A-tier character. But if your goal is to achieve the highest trophies on Trophy Road, you should certainly consider choosing the better brawlers in this tier list.

  • Byron
  • Dynamike
  • Draco
  • Crow
  • Bea
  • Cordelius
  • El Primo
  • Mandy
  • Bibi
  • Ruffs
  • Max
  • Mortis
  • Brock
  • Bull
  • Edgar
  • Belle
  • Kit
  • Melodie
  • Nita

C-Tier

The C-tier brawlers are a nice pick for those who are newbies in Brawl Stars. They are good in the starting line, as they are a strong support for your learning of the game. Although they are not the best, they are not the worst either. So play around with these ones to find a playstyle that you like the most, but be open to switching to stronger brawlers once you get the hang of it.

  • Amber
  • Jessie
  • Angelo
  • Carl
  • Stu
  • Buzz
  • Willow
  • Fang
  • Gene
  • Griff
  • Buster
  • Gray
  • Lola
  • 8-bit
  • Spike
  • Ash
  • Charlie
  • Lou
  • Pearl
  • Otis
  • Squeak

D- Tier

The brawlers in D-tier are the ones who can produce no win against an opponent, so they are completely out of use in the current meta. Hopefully, the developers will give them another chance to be used again. Till then, it is advised not to use them at any cost until the necessary changes are made.

  • Shelly
  • Doug
  • Sam
  • Eve
  • Chuck
  • R-T
  • Bonie
  • Gus
  • Hank
  • Nani
  • Mr P
  • Poco
  • Darryl
  • Janet
  • Penny
  • Sprout
  • Grom
  • Pam
  • Tara
  • Tick
  • Maisie

Clash of Clans: Hero Equipment tier list https://www.destructoid.com/clash-of-clans-hero-equipment-tier-list/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=clash-of-clans-hero-equipment-tier-list https://www.destructoid.com/clash-of-clans-hero-equipment-tier-list/#respond Sat, 17 Aug 2024 16:24:07 +0000 https://www.destructoid.com/?p=579725 An image of several Heroes in Clash of Clans.

Being a Clash of Clans player, I can understand that choosing the right hero equipment is a big deal for everyone. Currently, there are 22 Hero Equipments, with Magic Mirror being the most recent. Basically, these pieces of equipment can buff up your heroes in terms of damage, health recovery, etc. But not every Hero Equipment is effective in battles.

To help you sort that out, we crafted a tier list for all the hero equipment so that you can find the best one that you are looking for. We have divided the rankings into five tiers: S, A, B, C, and D.

Clash of Clans Hero Equipment tier list

An image of Giant, Goblin and Spiky Ball in Clash of Clans.
Image via Clash of Clans

S-Tier

Hero Equipment that is in S-Tier is top-class in Clash of Clans. You don't want to miss them, as they can provide the ultimate edge over your opponent in a match.

  • Magic Mirror (Archer Queen)
  • Invisibility Vial (Archer Queen)
  • Eternal Tome (Grand Warden)
  • Giant Gauntlet (Barbarian King)

A-Tier

These A-Tier Hero Equipment are good for amping the Heroes up to a certain level in Clash of Clans. They will certainly suffice until you unlock S-tier equipment.

  • Frozen Arrow (Archer Queen)
  • Haste Vial (Royal Champion)
  • Healing Tome (Grand Warden)
  • Rage Vial (Barbarian King)
  • Royal Gem (Royal Champion)
  • Vampstache (Barbarian King)

B-Tier

This B-Tier Hero Equipment doesn't stand out on its own, but with the right combination, you can actually gain an edge over your opponent in Clash of Clans. For example, Haste Vial and Hog Rider Puppet are a combination that most of the players try on Royal Champion. In the end, it does boil down to how you use them and whether they fit your attacking style. Naturally, you don't want to keep relying on them, as they can be extremely ineffective at times.

  • Fireball (Grand Warden)
  • Hog Rider Puppet (Royal Champion)
  • Rage Gem (Grand Warden)
  • Rocket Spear (Royal Champion)
  • Barbarian Puppet (Barbarian King)

C-Tier

These C-Tier Hero Equipments are extremely poor, and you should replace them as soon as possible. It might be great for starters who have just unlocked a Hero but trust me, you will eventually want to move on from them.

  • Earthquake Boots (Barbarian King)
  • Spiky Ball (Barbarian King)
  • Life Gem (Grand Warden)
  • Seeking Shield (Royal Champion)
  • Archer Puppet (Archer Queen)

D-Tier

These D-Tier Hero Equipments are the worst to have in a battle, as they will provide little to no advantage to you, especially in crunch situations. The only advice I can give is to use them only if your main goal is farming in Clash of Clans.

  • Giant Arrow (Archer Queen)
  • Healer Puppet (Archer Queen)
