The wait is short for those who have ordered the Standard Edition of EA FC 25, as the release date is less than a week away.
Those with the Ultimate Edition can already enjoy all the available game modes, thanks to the early access. One major disadvantage of the Standard Edition is the delayed launch – you’ll have to wait for an extra seven days. While the release date is already public, there’s always some confusion about the launch schedule, especially for PCs.
EA FC 25 Standard Edition release date
The Standard Edition will go live on September 27 on PC and consoles. For PC, the date may differ due to variance in time zones. There’s no such issue for those on consoles. In many ways, Standard Edition is following the same pattern as Ultimate Edition.
EA FC 25 Standard Edition release timings
If you’re on consoles, you’ll need to wait till midnight in your time zone. Once it’s past midnight and it’s officially September 27 in your country, the game will become available for you to play. This is the same for all console users, irrespective of whether they’re on current-gen or old-gen consoles.
Here are the launch timings for Standard Edition for PC users.
- Los Angeles ā 9 p.m. PDT (September 26)
- New York ā 12 a.m. EDT (September 27)
- London ā 5 a.m. BST (September 27)
- Berlin ā 6 a.m. CST (September 27)
- Tokyo ā 1 p.m. JST (September 27)

If you’ve played the EA Play trial, you won’t need to redownload the entire game. Once the worldwide launch goes live, a minor update should be available to mark your transition from the trial to full access. You’ll also retain your progression across all game modes.
