Most matches in EA FC 25 will allow you to control the difficulty levels of your opponents so that you can enjoy at your own pace.
While some of the game modes allow you to play competitively against other human opponents, you can control the difficulty levels of AI opponents. While EA Sports has made some changes when it comes to gameplay, the difficulty options inside the latest football simulator pretty much remain the same.
All EA FC 25 difficulty modes
EA FC 25 offers seven levels of difficulty settings for your matches. You can have as easy or hard a challenge as you want when you’re going up against the AI.
Playing in higher difficulties will matter in specific scenarios. In Squad Battles, you’ll need to play at Semi-Pro or higher in order to complete objectives. Winning matches in higher difficulties also fetches you more points on the leaderboard and helps you rank higher every week.
- Beginner: This level is for absolute newbies who are picking up the series for the first time.
- Amateur: This level is best suited for those who have extremely low experience of playing an FC game or football video games in general.
- Semi-Pro: This level is for those who have some knowledge about the basics of the game, but they’re casual players at best.
- Professional: Ideal for those who have a decent understanding of the core mechanics and want to face a challenge.
- World Class: Ideal for those who have good depth with previous games like EA FC 24 in general.
- Legendary: Ideal for the Elite Division players who want to face the very best.
- Ultimate: The hardest difficulty of EA FC 25, which tries to simulate the gameplay patterns of esports athletes.
In offline modes like Career Mode and exhibitions, it’s all about having fun. Hence, playing at a lower difficulty won’t have any penalties. It’s all about ensuring that you get enjoyment from the product you bought. In competitive modes like Division Rivals and Champions, there’s no question of difficulty levels as you play other human opponents.
